See SKEDD technology at electronica- Diehl Metal Applications presents the this year’s highlight of the fair

From November 8-11, 2016, the electronica will take place in Munich. This trade fair is the world’s leading event for electronic components, systems and applications.

Diehl Metal Applications (DMA) provides an integrated value-added chain for metal-plastic composites for electronic and electrical applications as a one-stop shop concept:

  • Optimum coordination of base material and surface plating
  • Support in selecting intelligent material combinations
  • Highly integrated production processes during copper alloy production
  • Precision & high-speed stamping as well as surface technologies
  • Production of contacts with Schempp+Decker press-fit zones
  • Overmolding & Assembly

Metal-plastic compound systems from DMA are used in connection with electrical systems in ABS, ESP and transmission control technology, in central electrics and in lighting and connector modules. They ensure simplified functional integration, production advantages and weight savings.

At electronica, DMA will present SKEDD technology, developed by Würth Elektronik ICS, as a trade fair highlight. SKEDD is a new type of contact system for connecting components to the printed circuit board and is contributing to the miniaturization trend in the automotive industry: assembly space and weight are reduced; assembly is simplified and a sustainable recycling process is supported.

Come along and experience our product and service portfolio for yourself!

Further appointments of DMA may be found on the event calender of Diehl Metall.
